MUHAMMAD ZUNNURAIN ABDUL WAHAB

From an early age, MUHAMMAD ZUNNURAIN ABDUL WAHAB has led an impressive educational and professional journey steeped in Islamic studies spanning over three decades. He completed his Senior Islamic Studies Certificate in 1996 from the prestigious El Kanemi College of Islamic Theology. He continued deepening his knowledge at institutions like the Ahmad Arabi College and Islamic University of Niger through 2003, attaining qualifications like an Advanced Diploma in Arabic and Islamic Studies.


While compiling Islamic scholarly credentials, Mal. Zunnurain also contributed to uplifting educational standards at schools across Nigeria and Malaysia. As early as 1996, he began lecturing at Islamic academic institutions like Ibrahim Memorial College and Al Iman School through 2006. In 1997, Mal. Zunnurain’s dedication to spreading religious knowledge also led him to co-find the Nuruddeen Qur’anic School where he served as Administrator until 2006.


In 2004, Mal. Zunnurain added to his scholarly repertoire by winning accolades in the National Qur’anic Recitation Competition. The next year he was bestowed the Recitation Award from the eminent King Abdul Azeez International Qur’anic Recitation Competition in Saudi Arabia.


After earning a highly regarded Political Science Master’s Degree from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2009, Mal. Zunnurain returned to Nigeria. He soon assumed the Head of School role at the prominent Golden Olives Academy in Abuja from 2015-2016. Recently until 2023, Mal. Zunnurain leveraged his blend of leadership and erudition in Islamic texts as the Diplomatic Assistant at Turkey's Embassy focusing on religious affairs.


Mal. Zunnurain continues his lifelong commitment to educational advancement as Director of the Alkawthar Comprehensive Islamic School and through the Alkawthar Islamic Foundation he founded in 2016. Guiding the next generation through religious instruction remains his enduring devotion.
